Softball Recap: Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes vs. Martinsville Bluestreaks

Georgetown-Ridge Farm was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell victim to a tough 12-2 defeat at the hands of the Martinsville Bluestreaks.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Winslow, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

On Martinsville's side, they got a great performance from Brylee Reed as she tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. Reed has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive pitching appearances.
