Holden is a perfect 10-0 against Richmond since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Spartans at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Holden lost 3-0 to Lafayette County on Thursday. The Eagles have struggled against the Huskers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-8, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Richmond didn't have quite enough to beat Carrollton on Thursday and fell 3-2. While the Spartans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Trojans 25-20 in the first set.

Richmond actually scored more points across those five sets (104-98), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-21, 25-22, 13-25, 15-11.

Holden's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18-1. As for Richmond, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.

Everything went Holden's way against Richmond in their previous meeting on Monday, as Holden made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
