Eisenhower waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Valley Center Hornets. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Callie Gumm paced Eisenhower's offense, picking up seven kills. Gumm got some help from Emilee George and her 11 assists. Sydney Nance controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Eisenhower's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Valley Center, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.

Eisenhower didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Maize on the 20th. As for Valley Center, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Newton on the 20th.
