Soccer Recap: Pearl Takes a Loss

Pearl was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 6-1 to the Brandon Bulldogs. The match was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for the Pirates it sure didn't stay that way.

Pearl's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Brandon, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pearl will head out to square off against Meridian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pearl is facing Meridian at the right time seeing as Meridian is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. Brandon and Oak Grove will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
