Football Recap: Cole Valley Christian Takes a Loss

Cole Valley Christian lost against McCall-Donnelly back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Chargers were dealt a 44-7 defeat at the hands of the Vandals. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Parker Minegar threw for 46 yards and one TD. Ethan Minegar was his top target, picking up 37 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Aiden Shanks rushed for 58 yards.

Colt Value continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for McCall-Donnelly, rushing for 92 yards and three touchdowns. That's the most rushing touchdowns Value has posted since back in October of 2024.

Cole Valley Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for McCall-Donnelly, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Cole Valley Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 38-6 defeat against Weiser on the 10th. As for McCall-Donnelly, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 39-7 win against Payette on the 10th.
