Volleyball Recap: Highland Park Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Highland Park lost against Maine West back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Giants took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. The Giants have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Maine West scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-17.

Highland Park's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Maine West, the victory snapped their losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 9-13 record.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Highland Park is set to square off against their familiar foe Maine East at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Maine West will face off against rival Vernon Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
