Basketball Recap: Chaputnguak Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Trennon Abraham and Felagai Laumea

Chaputnguak lost against Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Chaputnguak Shaman fell 60-52 to the Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial Carayiit. The Shaman have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Felagai Laumea and Trennon Abraham certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Laumea posted 19 points, while Abraham scored 16 points. Laumea's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Placid John, who had seven points.

Chaputnguak now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

As of now, neither Chaputnguak nor Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial have any future games scheduled.
