Basketball Recap: Liberty Charter Comes Up Short

Liberty Charter and Prairie squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Liberty Charter had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Prairie Pirates 64-22. The loss continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now lost three in a row.

Liberty Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Prairie, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 21-2.

Liberty Charter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 49-40 loss against Lakeside on the 21st. As for Prairie, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 69-40 victory against Valley on the 21st.
