Lennard is a perfect 10-0 against Spoto since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Lennard Longhorns will welcome the Spoto Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Lennard fell victim to Plant City and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Raiders, falling 6-0. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Longhorns' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 19 runs the game before, Spoto was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They lost 12-1 to Riverview. The Spartans have struggled against the Sharks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meetings.

Lennard's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Spoto, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Spoto's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Thursday. Lennard has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.2 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Spoto, though, as they've been averaging only 3.8 strikeouts. Will Lennard keep running through batters, or will Spoto buck the trend?

Lennard took their victory against Spoto when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 15-3. Does Lennard have another victory up their sleeve, or will Spoto turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
