            Basketball Recap: Commodore Perry Panthers vs. Union Knights/Damsels        
        
		
        
        
            Commodore Perry was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight  loss. They took  a  52-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Union Knights/Damsels. The Panthers lost against the Knights/Damsels in their previous head to head  back in December of 2019, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the  63-30 score last time.
 Union's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Gage Jordan, who  dropped  a double-double on 17 points and 16  rebounds. Jordan is also crushing it when it comes to  blocks: he's   posted at least two every time he's  taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was  Owen Bish, who  dropped  a double-double on 14  points and 12  boards.
Commodore Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Union, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 10-12 record  this season.
 We've got a battle between Panthers coming up. Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
