Volleyball Recap: Ridgway Comes Up Short

Ridgway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Dolores Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-10, 25-10.

Dolores found their leader in freshman Layla Mitchell, who had nine digs.

Ridgway's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Dolores, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 18-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ridgway will challenge rival Norwood at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Dolores is set to take on their familiar foe Telluride at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
