Soccer Game Preview: La Sierra Academy vs. United Christian Academy

The La Sierra Academy Knights will square off against the United Christian Academy Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. La Sierra Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 6.7 goals per game this season.

La Sierra Academy is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Cornerstone Christian just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Monday. They and the Crusaders finished up their game with a 3-3 draw. The result kept the Knights happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 16th.

They hit Cornerstone Christian with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lenny Thomas, Melvyn Owusu-Frimpong, and Ethan Aguilar.

Meanwhile, United Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They came up short against California Lutheran, falling 4-1. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Eagles couldn't quite close it out.

United Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. La Sierra Academy's draw makes their record 8-2-1 this season.

Everything went La Sierra Academy's way against United Christian Academy in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as La Sierra Academy made off with a 6-0 win.
