Volleyball Recap: Taft Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Taft had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lincoln Park Lions. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in April.

Nicolas Pasala paced Taft's offense, picking up 15 kills. Pasala got some help from Ruel Ramirez and his 18 assists.

Taft's win bumped their record up to 27-6. As for Lincoln Park, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.

Taft has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Amundsen on the 20th. As for Lincoln Park, they will head out on the road to face off against Jones at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
