Devin Saltzgaber put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Friday. He struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and only one walk). He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Sacred Heart Prep is 5-2 when he allows at most two walks, but 4-10 otherwise.

Coming up, Saltzgaber and Sacred Heart Prep are taking a road trip to face off against Sequoia at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Gators had to take a loss when they last met the Ravens, but Saltzgaber had little to do with the loss: he pitched four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits.
