Basketball Game Preview: Forks Spartans vs. Chief Leschi Warriors

The Forks Spartans are taking a road trip to face off against the Chief Leschi Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Forks has six straight wins, Chief Leschi has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Friday, Forks humbled North Beach with a 69-19 victory. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Chief Leschi came up short against Raymond/South Bend on Friday and fell 69-62.

Forks pushed their record up to 17-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 40.5 points. As for Chief Leschi, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-16.

Everything came up roses for Forks against Chief Leschi in their previous matchup back in January, as the team secured an 84-23 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Forks since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
