Softball Recap: Syracuse Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Syracuse can now relate to. They lost 12-0 to the Herriman Mustangs on Thursday. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Titans were not able to get on the board.

Syracuse saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grace Thomas, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Syracuse's loss dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Herriman, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Herriman beat Syracuse by a score of 13-1 on Friday.
