Stratford skates past Sundown with ease

Recap: Stratford Elks vs. Sundown Roughnecks
The Stratford Elks had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past Sundown 61-6 on the road. Stratford's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Stratford's win on Thursday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Julio Valdez, who picked up 100 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Bryce Braden was another key contributor, rushing for 61 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries.
Stratford's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Sundown, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
Stratford will square off against Stamford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Stamford is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Sundown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
