Softball Recap: Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran Comes Up Short

Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran came into this matchup off a tough 13-run defeat last Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Woodlan Warriors by a score of 11-9 on Friday. The Cadets have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Raelyn Koesters made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Madi Spreen was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Woodlan, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
