Basketball Game Preview: Cayuga Wildcats vs. Martins Mill Mustangs

Cayuga has won six straight games at home, while Martins Mill has won six straight on the road dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Cayuga Wildcats will be home for the holidays to greet the Martins Mill Mustangs at 6:00 p.m.

It was a proper cat-fight when Cayuga took on Fruitvale on Tuesday. Cayuga fell to Fruitvale 42-38.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Martins Mill against LaPoynor on Tuesday as the team secured a 66-34 win. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 25 points or more this season.

Martins Mill's victory bumped their record up to 16-0. As for Cayuga, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-4.

Cayuga was taken down by Martins Mill 83-8 when the teams last played back in February. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Cayuga was down 50-2.
