Redlands East Valley won the last time they faced Citrus Valley and things went their way  on Thursday too. The Redlands East Valley Wildcats came out on top against the Citrus Valley Blackhawks by a score of  58-49. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Wildcats.
 Redlands East Valley's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Mark Huynh, who  went 7 of 16  on his way to 18  points. Huynh continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Dariel Bahamontes, who  dropped  a double-double on 12 points and 11  boards.
 Citrus Valley's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Kayden Gaines, who  posted 12  points.  Bavly Morgan was another key player,  putting up six points and four  steals.
The  win  got Redlands East Valley back to even at 11-11. As for Citrus Valley, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record  this season.
 Redlands East Valley has already played their next game,  a  66-65  loss against Cajon on the 18th. As for Citrus Valley, they will face off against Yucaipa at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Yucaipa has 13 straight  victories, Citrus Valley has three straight  defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
