Brighton is 0-4 against Riverdale Ridge since January of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Brighton Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Riverdale Ridge Ravens at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Brighton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten contests.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Isaac Vigil, who went 6 for 14 en route to 16 points. Those 16 points gave him a new career-high. Micah Spotts was another key player, putting up nine points and four steals.
Even though they lost, Brighton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in six consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Riverdale Ridge waltzed into their match on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They strolled past the Wolves with points to spare, taking the game 76-61.
Brighton better keep an eye on Dylan Nieto. He was instrumental in Riverdale Ridge's win, almost dropping a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Javid Taylor, who went 5 of 6 to rack up 11 points and six boards.
Riverdale Ridge pushed their record up to 10-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 37.3% in those games and 29.9% outside of them. As for Brighton, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Brighton has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 29.8 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Riverdale Ridge struggles in that department as they've been averaging 29.9 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.

A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Nieto, who posted 23 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists.
