Baseball Recap: Denver West Comes Up Short

Denver West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 27th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Bishop Machebeuf Buffaloes, falling 23-3.

Enoch Maestes made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Denver West's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Bishop Machebeuf, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

Denver West and Bishop Machebeuf will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Cowboys will challenge rival Bruce Randolph at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Bishop Machebeuf is set to take on their familiar foe Estes Park at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
