Volleyball Recap: Portville Beats Jamestown for Their Sixth Straight Win

Portville waltzed into their match on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past the Jamestown Red & Green 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Portville never let Jamestown on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-23, 25-9.

Ali Haynes paced Portville's offense, picking up 12 kills. Haynes got some help from Addie Walker and her 30 assists.

Portville's victory bumped their record up to 27-2-2. As for Jamestown, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Coincidentally, Portville and Jamestown will both be playing Falconer the next time they take the court. The Panthers will host the Golden Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Red & Green will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
