Soccer Recap: South Lenoir Takes a Loss + How To Watch

South Lenoir was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pender Patriots. South Lenoir were not able to make up for their loss to Pender from their previous meeting back in August of 2017.

South Lenoir's goal came courtesy of Emilio Flores Salinas, who's now up to eight this season.

South Lenoir's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-2. As for Pender, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-8-2.
