Basketball Recap: Jefferson Christian Academy Finds Home Court Redemption Against Cornerstone

There's no place like home for Jefferson Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 76-62 win over the Cornerstone Eagles on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 50-45 back in November of 2024.

Jefferson Christian Academy had a senior duo take command as Jelani Eason posted 24 points and Justin Beckham scored 23 points. Another player making a difference was Brandon Williams, who put up nine points.

Jefferson Christian Academy's record is now 15-12. As for Cornerstone, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

Jefferson Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 67-65 loss against Victory Christian on the 25th. Cornerstone has also already played their next contest, a 73-43 defeat against Westminster School at Oak Mountain on the 25th.
