Baseball Recap: Jupiter Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Jupiter waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Dr. Joaquin Garcia Bulldogs by a score of 7-3.

Ryder Bennett looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Ryan Senecal and Gabe Graulau did most of the damage at the plate: Senecal scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Graulau scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Those two stolen bases gave Graulau a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Colton Schwarz, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Jupiter's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Dr. Joaquin Garcia, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jupiter will welcome Jensen Beach at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Jensen Beach: 2.8, Jupiter: 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Dr. Joaquin Garcia, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Palm Beach Central at 6:30 p.m.
