Basketball Recap: Marshall Comes Up Short

If Marshall was feeling good fresh off their 72-37 takedown of Hutchinson last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Marshall Tigers took a 62-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Tigers on Tuesday.

Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-6.

As for Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Tigers face off against the Cardinals at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
