Baseball Recap: Katz Yeshiva Takes a Loss

Katz Yeshiva lost against Palm Beach Lakes back in March of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Katz Yeshiva Storm came up short against the Palm Beach Lakes Rams, falling 14-4. That's two games in a row now that the Storm have lost by exactly ten runs.

Katz Yeshiva saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ronen Ben-Aharon, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another was Yamin Levitt, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Katz Yeshiva and nudges their season record down to 1-2. As for Palm Beach Lakes, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Katz Yeshiva will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Inlet Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Palm Beach Lakes, they will head out on the road to face off against Lincoln Park Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Palm Beach Lakes is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 14.8 runs per game this season.
