Volleyball Recap: Jordan-Matthews Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Jordan-Matthews was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Providence Grove Patriots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jets of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2022.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-16, 25-17.

Emily Dekaney paced Jordan-Matthews' offense, picking up eight kills. Dekaney got some help from Maggy Jaimes-Pulido and her 11 assists. Finally, Reagan Sandel kept Jordan-Matthews' defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Jordan-Matthews' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Providence Grove, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Jordan-Matthews wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Chatham Central on the 21st. As for Providence Grove, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Randleman on the 21st.
