Basketball Recap: Rowan Woodrich's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Peach County over Northside

Peach County lost against Northside back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trojans came up short against the Eagles, falling 79-59.

Peach County lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Rowan Woodrich, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jamar Johnson, who went 5-for-11 on his way to 15 points.

Peach County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Northside, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Peach County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 67-50 victory against Taylor County on the 28th. As for Northside, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 67-47 win against Westside on the 25th.
