Softball Recap: Norfolk Christian Comes Up Short

Norfolk Christian lost against Catholic back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Norfolk Christian Ambassadors lost 14-3 to the Catholic Crusaders.

Norfolk Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Libbie Furlough, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Norfolk Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Catholic, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norfolk Christian will welcome Georgetown Visitation Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Catholic, they will be playing at home against Hampton Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
