Last Tuesday, South Johnston beat Southern Wayne 56-43.

Meanwhile, Smithfield-Selma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 63-37 to West Johnston.

South Johnston's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-10. As for Smithfield-Selma, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14.
