They came out on top against Wagener-Salley by a score of 5-2 on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the War Eagles: they've now won five in a row.

Daniel Graddick made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-1.

In other batting news, Jacob Hair was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two triples and two runs. Jacob Harper also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Swansea hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts in seven consecutive contests.

Swansea pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.8 runs over those games. As for Saluda, their record now sits at 4-1.

Saluda came out on top in a nail-biter against Swansea when the teams last played on Saturday, sneaking past 5-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for Saluda since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
