Volleyball Recap: Southwood Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Victory

With a playoff win on the line, Southwood rose to the challenge on Saturday. They blew past the Oak Hill Golden Eagles 3-0. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Shania Rhamy paced Southwood's offense, picking up 22 kills. Rhamy got some help from Adi Deaton and her 36 assists. Rhamy was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Southwood's win bumped their record up to 29-3. As for Oak Hill, with the loss, they broke their 18-match winning streak and moved their record to 24-9.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Southwood and Wapahani will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Oak Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
