Volleyball Recap: Kaylee Seitz's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Dover-Eyota over Fillmore Central + How To Watch

If Dover-Eyota was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Plainview-Elgin-Millville on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles fell 3-1 to the Fillmore Central Falcons on Thursday. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-20, 14-25, 25-20, 25-14.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kaylee Seitz, who had 11 digs and two aces.

Dover-Eyota's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Fillmore Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Dover-Eyota didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Nova Classical Academy on the 4th. As for Fillmore Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wabasha-Kellogg at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
