Softball Recap: Virginia High Comes Up Short

Virginia High was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They lost 12-2 to the Tazewell Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in April.

Virginia High's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Tazewell, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-9.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Virginia High is set to square off against their familiar foe Richlands at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Tazewell will challenge rival Marion at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
