Softball Recap: Red Hook Comes Up Short

Red Hook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 15-7 to the Spackenkill Spartans. That's two games in a row now that the Raiders have lost by exactly eight runs.

Red Hook's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Spackenkill, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Red Hook is set to take on their familiar foe New Paltz at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Spackenkill will square off against rival Rondout Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
