Baseball Recap: Crown Point Comes Up Short

Schroon Lake hit Crown Point with a eight-run fifth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Panthers came up short against the Wildcats, falling 12-2. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

Crown Point's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Schroon Lake, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Coming up, Crown Point will venture away from home to challenge Lake Placid at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Schroon Lake, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 16-4 victory against Bolton Central on the 18th.
