Softball Game Preview: Nova Titans vs. Hollywood Hills Spartans

For the second straight game, Nova will face off against Hollywood Hills. The Titans will head out to face off against the Spartans at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Nova's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.

Nova's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Hollywood Hills as they made off with a 15-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won three matchups by 15 runs or more so far this season.

Dasia Davis and Sadie Kraus made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Davis pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Kraus tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. At bat, Davis scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3, while Kraus went 1-for-2 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. What's more, Davis posted three RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Aniya Williams was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in both of her plate appearances. Jada Corbin also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen bases of the season.

Nova hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five strikeouts batters in three consecutive contests.

Nova's record is now 3-4. As for Hollywood Hills, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
