Basketball Game Preview: Orchard Farm Eagles vs. St. Charles West Warriors

The Orchard Farm Eagles will challenge the St. Charles West Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Friday, Orchard Farm was fully in charge, breezing past Duchesne 65-38. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 98th, while the Pioneers are ranked 506th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, St. Charles West earned a 55-42 victory over Fort Zumwalt East on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Orchard Farm's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for St. Charles West, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-7.

Orchard Farm didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against St. Charles West in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 51-46 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Orchard Farm since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
