Basketball Game Preview: Campbell County Camels vs. Dixie Heights Colonels

The Campbell County Camels will head out to take on the Dixie Heights Colonels at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Campbell County is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Kentucky's top teams: South Laurel, who was ranked 18th at the time (Campbell County was ranked 20th). Campbell County fell 54-46 to South Laurel on Saturday. The Camels have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Dixie Heights, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 60-43 win over Conner on Friday.

Campbell County's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Dixie Heights, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-7.

Campbell County strolled past Dixie Heights in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 78-63. Will Campbell County repeat their success, or does Dixie Heights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
