Volleyball Recap: Trinity Presbyterian Comes Up Short

If Trinity Presbyterian was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Saint James on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Bayside Academy Admirals on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Admirals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

While Trinity Presbyterian ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-19.

Trinity Presbyterian dropped their record down to 6-12 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Bayside Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-6.

Coincidentally, Trinity Presbyterian and Bayside Academy will both be playing Ocean Springs the next time they take the court. The Admirals will host the Greyhounds at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
