Recap: Curtis Warriors vs. Erasmus Hall Dutchmen
The Curtis Warriors lost against the Erasmus Hall Dutchmen back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Curtis had to suffer through a rough 40-13 loss at the hands of Erasmus Hall. Curtis has struggled against Erasmus Hall recently, as their contest on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Curtis still got an impressive performance from Chauncey Mims, who rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown on only five carries. Mims was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 62 yards.
Curtis now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Erasmus Hall, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Curtis will face off against New Dorp at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Erasmus Hall, they will head out on the road to face off against Wagner at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
