While Jackson-Milton's win against Mineral Ridge wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bluejays sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 victory over the Rams on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-0 last Tuesday.

Jackson-Milton is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Mineral Ridge, their loss ended a nine-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-4.

Looking ahead, Jackson-Milton will challenge Springfield at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mineral Ridge, they will host East at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. East will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
