Volleyball Recap: Riverdale's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

It's playoff time, and Riverdale had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Eureka Hornets by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Rams as they're now sitting on five straight.

Riverdale easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-8.

Leading Riverdale to victory were Kamryn Kruger and Lola Wainwright. Kruger had eight digs and four aces, while Wainwright had three digs and two aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Riverdale was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.

Riverdale's victory bumped their record up to 24-10-1. As for Eureka, with the loss, they broke their ten-match winning streak and moved their record to 31-6.

As of now, neither Riverdale nor the Hornets have any future games scheduled.
