Basketball Recap: Cathedral Now 6-2 over Last Eight Games

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Cathedral had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against the Hamilton-Wenham Regional Generals by a score of 62-55 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 64-35 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Cathedral has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.4 points over those games. With the loss, Hamilton-Wenham Regional broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-6.

As of now, neither Cathedral nor Hamilton-Wenham Regional have any future games scheduled.
