Basketball Recap: Mcbee Sets Scoring Season-High Against Lamar + How To Watch

McBee extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping them up to 4-1. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 57-51 W against the Lamar Silver Foxes. The Panthers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Curtis Sutton had an outrageously good game as he shot 54% from the field to rack up 20 points. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.5% three-point shooting accuracy. Another player making a difference was Hayden Griggs, who went 5-for-7 on his way to 11 points in addition to six rebounds and four blocks.

As for Lamar, they now have a losing record of 1-2. The loss continues a trend for them in their meetings with McBee: they've now lost four in a row.

Lamar lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Lamont Williams, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 59% in the last four games he's played dating back to last season. Davaris Lambert was another key player, shooting 42% from the field en route to 14 points.

McBee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 50-45 win against North Central on the 11th. As for Lamar, they have also already played their next contest, a 53-47 victory against Darlington on the 10th.
