Soccer Recap: Greenon Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Greenon has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They came up short against the Carroll Patriots on Saturday, falling 9-1. If Greenon were looking for revenge after losing 8-0 to Carroll when the teams met back in September of 2017, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Greenon's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4-2. As for Carroll, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Greenon will face off against Greeneview at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carroll, they will challenge Chaminade Julienne Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
