Soccer Game Preview: Prospect Ridge Academy vs. The Academy

Thursday just wasn't the day for Prospect Ridge Academy's offense. They lost 4-0 to Eagle Ridge Academy on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Prospect Ridge Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 176th, while Eagle Ridge Academy are ranked 34th).

Meanwhile, The Academy entered their contest against Eagle Ridge Academy on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. Surprisingly, this marked The Academy's fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

The Academy's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1-1 and their overall record down to 7-2-2. As for Prospect Ridge Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8-1.
