Muenster never let their opponents score on Thursday. They breezed past the Santo Wildcats to the tune of 28-0. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 21 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Casen Carney, who rushed for 102 yards and a pair of TDs, and also threw for 140 yards and two touchdowns. Dustyn Croft was another key player, picking up 60 receiving yards and one score.

Muenster pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 49.5 points this season. As for Santo, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Muenster will take on rival Collinsville at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st. That contest will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Carney and Paxton Davidson. Meanwhile, Santo is set to face off against their familiar foe Lindsay at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
